My identity could not be verified because the photo of my ID was not clear. How can I fix this?

The ID photo you submitted was too blurry, dark, or obscured by glare to read. Please use the Resubmit ID button on to submit a new image of your ID. Your name, date of birth, ID expiration date, and face photo should be clearly visible.

Please make sure you have proper lighting with no glare on the ID. Your webcam lens should be clean. Allow the webcam to focus on the details of your ID so the image is not blurry.

If you cannot get a clear photo with your computer, you may use an external webcam or different computer to resubmit your ID.
