My identity could not be verified because I submitted an ID that is different from the type of ID I selected during test setup. How can I fix this?

Please use the Resubmit ID button on to submit a new photo of your ID. You must select the correct form of ID from the "ID type" drop down-menu.

If you are submitting a passport, you must select "Passport" from the "ID type" drop-down menu. If you are submitting a driver's license, you must select "Driver's License." If you are submitting another form of government photo ID, you must select "Government Photo ID."
