I received an email stating that you were unable to certify my test results. What happened?

If your test result cannot be certified, please log in to your account and click on the "My Tests" button in the navigation bar. All reasons why your result was invalidated will be listed. There will be a "learn more" button next to each reason, which links to an article with more details and tips to help prevent this from happening again.

If you are suspected of violating any of the rules of the Duolingo English Test, Duolingo reserves the right to not certify your test results. In this case, please review the test rules and requirements before retaking the test.

We also may not be able to certify your results if a technical error occurs during the test. In this case, please make sure that you have a stable, wired internet connection and are using the most up-to-date version of the test desktop app when taking the test. If the problem persists, please contact support with specific details about the issue.
