How can I maintain eye contact with the screen if I have to look down to type?

Our team of proctors and automated systems are able to tell the difference between simply looking down to type (non-touch typing) versus maintaining focus on the screen while typing (touch typing). Looking at the keyboard to type will not affect the certification decision for your test.

You may also receive this note when your webcam is placed in a location that is not at the top center of the monitor. For example, your webcam should not be placed next to the computer or on the desk, it must be directly set on top of the monitor and centered.
