My institution sets a standard rate for indirect costs and exceptions to their policy are rare. What impact do indirect costs have on my chances of being awarded a grant?

The amount of institutional indirect costs is one but not the only factor that Duolingo will take into account.  As our guidelines state, proposals that have no more than 20% for institutional indirect costs are preferred.
